We built the room we always wished existed.
Villageco.work isn't a desk rental. It's a deliberate bet on what happens when the right people share the same walls. A community-first work club for entrepreneurs who get sh*t done together.
"The village is the oldest productivity tool ever invented."
Back in September, we needed a good coworking space. The one we'd been going to was closing down (shoutout to Nic Parks for providing us a home for so many years). Two days after a brainstorm session, we had keys in hand. That's how Villageco.work started — not from a business plan, but from a genuine need.
What became clear fast: being an entrepreneur takes a village. Village is here to close that gap with Columbia's first Social Work Club. A place where you don't just work near people — you actually work with them.
We're not new to the neighborhood either. Kiley owns Soundcheck Practice Studios right next door — a 24/7 music studio built on the same belief that space and access shouldn't get in the way of what people are capable of creating. Villageco.work is the next room in that vision.
We hope you'll fall in love with Villageco.work as much as we have. Hope to see all you crazy, entrepreneurial, rebel-minded and warm-hearted people there. And if this doesn't interest you — it's best to find your village elsewhere.
